Thoughtfully embroidered, beautifully yours. This guide will help you create a personalised item that looks refined, stitches perfectly, and lasts for years.

Step 1: Choose Your Item

Select your preferred style, colour, and size. Our items are chosen for their superior quality, durability, and suitability for fine embroidery.

Step 2: Choose Your Personalisation Type

You may personalise your towel with text, an image, or a combination of both.

A. Text Personalisation

Perfect for names, initials, dates, or short messages.

Text Requirements

Maximum length: Up to 15 characters recommended for best balance

Tips for a Luxury Finish

Initials or single names feel timeless and elegant
Short words embroider more crisply than long phrases
Consider tone-on-tone thread for a subtle look, or contrast for a statement

B. Image or Logo Personalisation

Ideal for crests, symbols, line drawings, or small logos.

Image Requirements
To ensure clean, high-quality embroidery, please upload images that meet the following:

File types: JPG, PNG, or PDF
Resolution: High-resolution clear pictures recommended
Style: Simple, clear designs with defined lines.
Background: Transparent or plain background preferred
Size: Fine details should not be smaller than 2–3 mm when stitched

What May Need Adjusting

Highly detailed illustrations
Very thin lines or small text
NB – We do not accept photographs or highly realistic detailed images.

If your image needs refinement, we will advise before production.

These images will require more time to be digitized, and will incur additional costs as well. See examples below:

Step 3: Pricing Guide for Personalisation

Embroidery pricing depends on the complexity of the design and the time required to digitise and stitch it.

Text Embroidery (Simple)

Names, initials, or short messages
One font, one thread colour

Included or priced at a basic personalisation rate – R 150 + cost of item

Simple Image Embroidery

Minimal detail
Limited stitch count
Few colour changes

Priced at a lower image personalisation tier – R 200 + cost of item

Complex Image Embroidery

High detail or intricate designs
Multiple colours
Logos requiring custom digitising

Priced at a higher complexity tier due to additional digitising and stitching time – Enquire for price

Note: Once your image is reviewed, you will be informed of the applicable tier before embroidery begins.

Step 4: Proof & Approval

For image-based or complex designs, a digital proof may be provided for approval. Production begins only once approval is confirmed.

Step 5: Production & Care

Each piece is embroidered to order with care and attention. As personalised items are made especially for you, they are not eligible for return unless faulty upon dispatch. Please refer to our full care guide for more detail on how to care for your item.
